Carol Nazha

General Manager People & Culture , Heinemann Oceania

With over 12 years' experience in the Hospitality industry and 10 years in Human Resources, Carol is a dedicated, results-focused professional delivering superior results through effective interpersonal skills and people management.

In February of 2020 Carol joined Heinemann Australia (now Heinemann Oceania) as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner and was a pivotal change agent during the COVID-19 pandemic leading our people agenda through the most uncertain times. In January of 2021 she was promoted to Human Resources Manager where she successfully led multiple HR Projects whilst simultaneously managing a team that delivers on best practice and compliance.  In January of 2023 Carol was appointed as Head of Human Resources overseeing and implementing all aspects of the local aligned with regional and global people agenda in Australia including but not limited to Employee Value Proposition, Employee Engagement, Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Belonging as well as Digitalisation, and in January 2026 she was appointed General Manager - People & Culture.

Prior to joining Heinemann, Carol held several roles in the hotel industry, including at Meriton Suites, Australia where she started off as a Talent and Culture Officer and progressed through to Talent Acquisition Manager, Training and Development Manager and lastly Talent and Culture Manager.

Carol holds a degree in Bachelors of Business in Hotel Management from Southern Cross University, Queensland, Australia as well as a Master's in Employment Relations from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. She has lived in Lebanon, Dubai and Australia.
